The Rowley Sweater is the adult version of the children’s Pebbles Sweater. As the Pebbles Sweater is named for a creek my kids like to play in, the Rowley Sweater is named for the canyon that creek originates from.
Made out of worsted weight yarn, this sweater knits up quickly in a basic and comfortable sweater. It’s a straightforward raglan design with a scoop neck instead of a crew neckline, and makes a good first sweater pattern.
Skill Level: Easy-Intermediate. Intermediate techniques and stitches used include: i-cord, picking up stitches, back-loop cast on, kfb, ktbl, k2tog, and k2tog tbl. All techniques are explained in the pattern, except for picking up stitches.
