The January Drift Cowl is named after the snow drifts we get in Idaho. January tends to be a stormy month here, and many fields (and roads, unfortunately) are covered with beautiful drifts created by the wind. I wanted to recreate that look with the cables of the cowl.
The pattern is for a one-size-fits-all cowl, but instructions are given on how to reduce or increase the size of the cowl to whatever you need. The given pattern is about a S/M adult size.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. You will need to know how to knit in the round on circular needles, and how to knit and purl. Instructions are given on how to complete the cables.
Yarn: 230 yds/210 m DK weight. Shown is Swish DK in Bare from Knit Picks
Needles: 4mm, 16-24 inch/40-60 cm circular needles
